PVC film is a kind of plastic membrane which applies PVC resin as its main raw material whose English name is "POLY VINYL CHLORIDE" called as PVC. The main ingredient is generated by the synthesis of PVC resin and plasticizer performance.It is featured mainly by its flexibility and aging-assistance and is widely used in fields of inflatable products, inflatable toys and inflatable furniture, fields of agriculture
and other applications.

Meanwhile, as PVC film contains heavy metal elements, there are different requirements on related products,set by different countries are different. Therefore, according to the different toxicity content of products, PVC films are divided into three types subject to the low toxicity requirements:

1. European Union: EN/71 standards are executed, which are applicable to countries like Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, British. Content and standards of eight heavy metals should be tested mainly.

2. American Standards of ASTM: Applicable to U.S.A. and Japan, etc. 3% or less than this content of plasticizer DEHP should be tested mainly.

3. Environmental Standards are also deemed as citric acid PVC and food-grade test standards which are applicable to the worlds major developed countries.The content of six additives should be tested.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is one of Chinas common plastic varieties which have been developed the earliest, produced the largest and used the widest, whose output has been accounted for about half of plastic products in China and come second to polyethylene (PE) among plastic varieties.
